EADS Test & Services (UK) is located on the south coast at Ferndown in Dorset, approximately 90 minutes driving time south west of London. The facility houses a comprehensive Design, Development, Manufacturing and Customer Support capability, together with the supporting Marketing, Sales and Administration functions, with a total workforce of approximately 100 people.

The primary focus id to provide comprehensive test solutions to the Defence, Aerospace and Aviation sectors. This ranges from test and measurement instrumentation, through man-portable, in-field/depot test systems to turn-key systems and integrated deployed support solutions.

By achieving an industry-wide reputation in the electro-optic testing field, particularly with their test benches, EADS TEST & SERVICES is capable of offering multi-purpose, high performing and durable test solutions available for all kinds of environments (workshop, shelter or aircraft carrier).

The Company's electro-optic test benches cover all test and adjustment requirements of existing and future equipment integrating such technology. These have been selected to support electro-optic weapon systems for a number of armed forces and support systems such as Rafale, Leclerc tank, Tiger helicopter, VABOBS armoured carrier, MIRABEL thermal sight and SOPHIE thermal binoculars/video camera.
