NO 1 GROUP


From its Headquarters at High Wycombe, No 1 Group is responsible for all, front line combat aircraft. No 1 Group squadrons and units are involved in the whole range of military operations ranging from UK Homeland Defence to operations in Afghanistan and elsewhere.

No 1 Group has around 10,000 personnel under command who operate from eight major flying stations. The group has 14 squadrons and one support unit under command.
