The completely redesigned aluminium E-Rack is displayed for the first time at this year’s IBC.

A novel method of manufacturing a ruggedised aluminium 19” rack gives an extraordinary combination of strength, lightweight and excellent protection from extreme climatic conditions.

• Very lightweight – 6U 480mm deep rack weighs less than 15Kg including the lids

• designed for broadcast, commercial and military applications, when protection against physical, climatic and electromagnetic hazards are required, and where weight, strength and portability are critical issues

• constructed from high-tensile aluminium alloy using an innovative folded rim design (patent pending) instead of a welded or riveted extrusion

• fully recessed lobe knobs sculpted for easy grip even when wearing arctic gloves

NEW SatRack sizes available

New at IBC this year is our very successful SatRack now available in 19 inch and 1/2 rack sizes. The SatRack, an ultra lightweight rack for portable satellite uplinks, brings together CP’s design experience in aluminium, plastics and textiles.

• Outer cover made from 1000 denier Cordura, an abrasion and weather resistant material that is tear proof and will not rot

• Body shell constructed from thermo-formed 10mm honeycomb polypropylene. Has a high strength to weight ration and is non-crushable

• 19” and 9.5” frames are shock mounted on 8 bi-angled elastomeric anti-vibration mounts

• Range of colours and optional accessories available
