Collaborating for Profit and Success Seminar from Axiom

24th January 2008 - Date
for your diary – not to be missed If this is the case, then all of our organisations are connected, albeit (in some cases) unknowingly, through the industry supply chain. Knowing that means we can now pull together to create the value chains needed to build partnerships, where everyone shares knowledge and contacts, thus leading to strong relationships and increased sales through both repeat business and referrals. This ˝ day has been designed to bring together different aspects of collaboration, from sharing innovation, technology and excellence models to building strong business partnerships. With a little bit of humour from expert speaker Geoff Burch. Maximising supply chain relationships for success and profit Partnership is often overused in today's society. For some, it simply means the odd meeting or hello. For others, it defines a way of thinking and a way working of together to promote the interests of all members through the collaborative efforts of all. Developing strong effective
supply chains is an art where communication and building trusted
relationships is key. Exploiting new technology, working together earlier The Defence Technology
Strategy looks at the challenges that face the UK defence industry, its
R&D and its adoption of new technology. It is never easy introducing new
technologies; however, there are also huge problems with older
technologies and components being phased out. Excellence and SC21 The EFQM Excellence Model
is a non-prescriptive framework base on 9 criteria. Five of these are
'Enablers' and four are 'Results'. The 'Enabler' criteria cover what an
organisation does. The 'Results' criteria cover what an organisation
achieves. 'Results' are caused by 'Enablers' and 'Enablers' are improved
using feedback from 'Results'. How to choose your partners If your capabilities, vision, values and culture match with your partners, then you are one step in the right direction. If you have never outsourced electronics manufacture, design, repair or any other service before, or are working with a partner that can’t provide you with a total resource, what questions should you be asking yourself when looking to either partner for the first time or migrate your business across to a new partner? This presentation is designed to provoke thought, and, via a live case study delivered by an Axiom customer in conjunction with an Axiom director, seeks to give you some reassurance and some guidance when looking to build new partnerships based on trust and collaboration. Very few people work by
themselves, and achieve results by themselves Aerospace Wales Forum Who are we? Can your
company benefit from working with us or your regional Aerospace forum? Why should you consider attending? It is always difficult giving up your time to come to a seminar. I always ask myself several questions when deciding whether to venture out?
This day will suit you if your organisation has any of the following needs:-
For fun
Geoff Burch, author, presenter, after dinner

humour, deliver some powerful business messages around partnership, trust
