DATA CONVERSION

ABUSE DETECTION
Instead of a costly full
forensic or investigation service this service is an analysis of disk
media to detect files which constitute abuse (inappropriate material) or
infringement of the customer's Acceptable Use Policy. Once detected, the
files will be captured as evidence, the disk returned, and a written
report provided. Target turnaround time is 2 to 3 working days.
Legal hard copy can be made of the disk and originals kept for evidence,
disks analysed for inappropriate material, report produced and evidence
recorded onto CD or alternative media.
DATA INSURANCE
For an annual subscription Institutional, Commercial and Private users can
now insure against the cost of data recovery.

GREEN RECYCLING
The Hazardous Waste
Regulation, which became enforceable from July 2005 is to ensure no
electronic equipment from any organisation is disposed of incorrectly
otherwise severe penalties have been cited. Our recycling / disposal
service will prevent such penalties.
The Directive for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is also
due to be in place to reduce the current amount of waste that is created
from computers when they are destroyed - the current figures for this kind
of waste annually is estimated to be in excess of 126,000 tons from
computers, PCs, laptops, systems and networks in the UK alone.
