Single wall, double wall, heavy duty corrugated boards with a wide variety of board and flute grades, solid board grades and types, printed, stitched or glued, Die cut, fittings, dividers we can supply to your requirements and specifications. PSP are used to supplying to such standards as those set by the MoD, DEFSTAN & SPIS.


Of course fibre boards are not restricted in use in worldwide applications or movements unlike timber is and hence fibre board and its use are very versatile, especially when choosing specialist boards where applications are set to test the packaging requirement and functionality.

In today’s climate of corporate responsibility the use of fibre boards is seen to be green as when the packaging is obsolete then it can be easily recycled.

Fibreboard - Corrugated board
 

PSP hold an extensive range of commercial standard corrugated board, light duty, medium duty, heavy duty, in a wide range & varying weights, flutes and specifications. We can also supply subject to minimum run sizes other grades and weights.

PSP are not only able to supply to FEFCO styles we have extensive experience supplying MoD grade & suitable corrugated board. With our extensive experience in the supply of primary and secondary contractors to the MoD we are able to supply materials that meet and exceed those requirements set in DESTAN’s, SPIS’s, and used for the creation of 81-106 and 81-107 types or cartons etc.

We are often asked to supply the more specialist boards for our clients, these are subject to minimum requirements again utilising the specialised board in the manufacture bespoke solutions. Specialist board types we are more commonly asked to use in a brief are; black conductive ESD, wet boards, specialist coated, barrier boards, impregnated and colour boards.

We are able to source just about any type of board and typically it will be subject to minimum mill runs and quantities.

Fibreboard - Solid Boards
 

There are many different types of solid board in varying thicknesses and application types, being produced from sustainable sources of virgin to recycled fibres.

Solid board is most appropriate for holding the smaller items, depending on the material used depends on the functionality of the carton manufactured.

Depending on the board depends on the quality of print that can be achieved which in turn can add value to the pack if required.

The use of solid board offers a wide range of carton styles (FEFCO Codes) and materials to choose from which can provide the ideal combination to promote and protect your product. PSP stock the following board type and grades as standard;

• 850 MICRON KL CB

• 1200 MICRON KL CB

• 1450 MICRON KL CB

• 2150 MICRON KL CB

We can also supply in the commercial standards & grades of solid board depending on needs, requirements and volumes.

PSP over the years have supplied MoD grade & suitable board for varied and different applications. With our extensive experience in the supplying of primary and secondary contractors to the MoD we are able to best understand what is required to supply materials that meet and exceed those requirements in Defence Standards (DESTAN’s and SPIS’s). For Example MoD styles – 8115, we are happy to supply to your individual and bespoke requirements.
