Waterborne Rescue Equipment from MFC Survival Ltd


MFC Survival manufacture a number of different types of waterborne rescue equipment. These include the API
Inflatable Stretcher, the RS5 and RS15 Rescue Sleds, the Airtrack an inflatable rescue walkway, the Fire Hose Inflation Kit and the Water Rescue Kit.


API Stretcher

The all purpose inflatable (API) stretcher, a revolutionary rescue stretcher.

Designed to cope with every rescue eventuality on land, mudbanks or even airborne. Can be lifted by helicopter, tobogganed over difficult terrain or used as a lightweight conventional stretcher on land.

  • Proven safe casualty handling:

  • Extensive trials and use by Mountain Rescue and Inshore Rescue teams

  • All round protection to exposure on land, air or sea

  • Compact and lightweight, easily stowed on vehicle, boat, helicopter or aircraft and can be back packed or carried by one person

  • Hauls in the horizontal or vertical plane and can be rigged to a ‘Breeches Buoy’ ship to shore transit system

The RS5 Rescue Sled

The RS5 rescue sled is used to transport personnel on water, mud or snow. Designed for use primarily in rescues that occur in rivers, flooded urban and coastal areas, lakes and swamps.

The RS15
Rescue Sled

The RS15 rescue sled is used to transport personnel on water, mud or snow. Designed for use primarily in rescues that occur in rivers, flooded urban and coastal areas, lakes and swamps.

Airtrack

The airtrack has a catamaran type construction giving it great stability on water, and clearance on ice, mud flats and unstable terrain. This unique footprint also prevents suction onto soft surfaces.

MFC Survival Level One Water Awareness Kit

MFC Survival has put together a Level One Water Awareness Kit for the DFRMO.


MFC Survival has put together a Level One Water Awareness Kit for the Defence Fire Risk Management Organisation (DFRMO).


This kit complements the company’s already well established water rescue equipment which includes lifejackets, sleds, stretchers, airtrack, hose inflation kits, drysuits and throw lines as well as servicing the equipment.



MFC Survival’s water rescue kit contains:

  • 3 x MFC 275N Single Chamber Lifejackets

  • 1 x technical rescue PFD

  • 2 x throwlines

  • 1 x loudhailer with waterproof bag

  • 2 x clip on blue lights in bags
