Bar code scanning increases safety in handling
In cases when there are lot of
different items stored in the vertical carousel and the items are
well defined with barcodes, the right solution is to connect a bar
code reader to the control unit to make it simpler to handle the
unit. This also gives less errors when
picking. If the unit is connected to a host system, you can also
print out labels for picked goods if needed.

KASTEN TORNADO AUTOMATED VERTICAL STORAGE
 The
KASTEN-Tornado is a modern, silent and rapid operating automatic
vertical storage system based on the latest development standards
using servo technology. Goods are stored with minimum loss of
space. The unique design of the Tornado optimises storage and
picking efficiency within the smallest possible cube. The rapid
servo drives controlling the vertical and horizontal movements
reduce picking and storage times while allowing the transfer of
goods quickly and safely to and from their selected storage
locations. Thanks to the Tornado's unique simple design and
structure its reliability is high and service requirements low.

Automated Vertical Storage
EUROT
AUTOMATED OFFICE STORAGE MACHINE
 Eurot
is an automated filing system consisting of rotary shelves for
storage and distribution of documents; it is the ideal solution
for limited spaces, and in conditions where rapid consultation
is required: shelves containing the filed material always travel
the shortest distance to reach the consultation zone.
Thanks to the vast range of different Eurot models and
the versatility of their internal accessories, it is possible to
file away a host of different materials such as cards, front and
side suspended files, resting folders, drawings either open or
rolled up , plastic containers, filing elements and various
other material, thereby making them highly adaptable to a vast
variety of different requirements in terms of space, weight,
material concentration or division.
Eurot can be fitted with various types of keyboards
according to the operational requirements of the user; from the
most basic shelf request to highly sophisticated requirements
for the recall of the actual filed documents and even fully
integrated file management.
CONVEYOR SYSTEMS
Modular Roller Conveyor Systems
For packages as small as 250mm in length. Handles Packages up to
30kg (or 50kg Eurototes). Conveyor widths from 300mm to 800mm.
Land and right hand drive systems. Speeds up to 114m/min.
Belt Driven Conveyor Systems
Belt conveyors are designed for applications where improved
load control and speed of operation are important factors.
Lineshaft conveyors
For packages as small as 250mm in length. Handles packages up to
30kg at speeds of up to 30m/min.
Gravity Conveyor System
Gravity conveyors are the cost effective solution to many
materials handling needs. The rollers reduce surface friction and
allow goods to be moved manually without the aid of power. They
suit flat based goods or those which are transported in flat based
containers. They can support loads up to 110kg per metre.
Pallet Conveyor System
The new modular pallet
conveyor comprises heavy duty chain conveyor, roller conveyor,
chain transfer and turntable modules. The flexible pallet conveyor
system is designed to handle the full range of Euro pallet sizes,
as well as the popular Chep type 1200 x 1000mm pallet, with loads
up to 1500kg.
Heavy Duty Belt Conveyor System
The Heavy Duty Belt Conveyor is a robustly engineered product
that operates quietly and requires minimal maintenance. Belt
widths from 600-12oomm with 1000kg belt loading capacity.
Multiple Belt Conveyor System
A flexible, low maintenance, high throughput Package Handling
System. For use with plastic/cardboard totes. Maximum weight 30kg.
Consisting of straight frames within which are mounted ZLP
Accumulation Zones or Roller Transfers and 30 degree Merging Spur
Units RH and LH. Speed ranging from 30 to 110m/min as standard.
Conveyor widths from 400mm to 800mm. Fully CE compliant. Low noise
levels of less than 65db.
Powered Roller Conveyor Systems
This is probably the simplest conveyor of its kind. Driven by
Itoh Denki motorised rollers containing dc brushless motors, the
conveyor consists of minimal moving parts and comes supplied with
integral photocell detectors.
The conveyor just needs a 24v and 0v dc supply and it runs. It
will automatically switch off zones when products begin to queue
up, creating intelligent zero line pressure accumulation. It can
even handle loads that are greater than a zone length - treating a
long load as efficiently as a short one, irrespective of how many
sensors it covers.
