Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelters (DRASH) is a family of quick
erect/strike tactical soft walled shelters with integrated support
systems. DRASH is a modular shelter system that is man portable, rugged,
reliable and user friendly.
Applications include, but are not limited to; Headquarter Complexes,
Command Posts, Tactical Operations Centres, Communications Nodes,
Regimental Aid Stations, Forward Surgical Facilities, Critical Care
Stations, Rapid Effect Hospitals, Maintenance Facilities and other
related combat support activities.
Individual model shelters range in footprints from 100 ft² (9.3 m²) up to
1200 ft² (112 m²). DRASH is easily configured for multi-shelter complexes
and vehicle booting. All DRASH shelters, flooring and ground covers are
manufactured from lightweight, specially coated polyester and nylon
fabrics which meet or exceed milspec fabric standards.
INTEGRATED SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Integrated Support Systems include nine different models of trailer each
with multiple power generation and environmental control units.
Lighting, heating, power distribution and complete logistical support
are also available. All DRASH trailers and support equipment have been
tested and approved for military use.

S SERIES DRASH SHELTER
The S Series are lightweight, man-portable, rugged, reliable and user
friendly shelters.
Using as few as four people, all shelters in this series can go from
transport bag to mission ready within minutes. Each S Series shelter
includes ground cover, floor, push poles and repair kit. A Steel Pin Stake Set is also included with each shelter (two sets for
Model 6) but packed separately.

XB SERIES DRASH SHELTER
The XB Series are lightweight, man-portable, rugged, reliable and user
friendly shelters. Using as few as four people, all shelters in this
series can go from transport bag to mission ready within minutes.
Each XB Series shelter includes ground cover, floor, one vestibule
curtain, push poles and repair kit. A Steel Pin Stake Set is also
included with each shelter (two sets for Model 6) but packed separately.
All DRASH Shelters are operable in weather extremes from -40°C to 58°C.

DRASH SAS (SATELLITE ANTENNA SHELTER) SERIES
The DRASH SAS (Satellite Antenna Shelter) provides camouflage and
protection for deployed transportable satellite communications antennas
up to eight feet in diameter. The SAS has an interior height of 13.5 feet and an interior floor space
of 143 ft². The SAS is easily deployed from transport bag to
mission ready within minutes.

J SERIES DRASH SHELTER
The J Shelter weighs 1,600 pounds and reduces down to a packed volume of
300 cubic feet or 53"x 56"x 94". The J Shelter comes in two system
packages.
One is a manually operated hydraulic container that fits on a 463L
Pallet. The other is a trailer. The J Trailer is towable by a 2¼ ton
truck, Bedford or Leyland DAF. Deployment time of the J Shelter from
when the shelter leaves the trailer bed to full set up is under 30
minutes. This is achieved by the assistance of a low-pressure air blower and
bladder that comes with the J System. A 5kW (optional 20kW) generator
which powers the air blower is also part of the J Shelter System.

M SERIES DRASH SHELTER
The M Series shelter is a lightweight, man-portable, rugged, reliable
and user friendly shelter.
The shelter comes in four components: Two centre M Sections and two end
M Caps. (End caps are two M1XBTJs.)
Each M Series shelter includes ground cover, floor, push poles and
repair kit. Two Steel Pin Stake Sets are also included with each shelter
but packed separately.
The M Series shelter is a versatile shelter system and can be used as a
Headquarters Complex, Hospital Ward, Treatment Facility, or indeed, as a
workshop for fleet vehicles.
All DRASH Shelters are operable in weather extremes from -40°C to 50°C.
