Warwick Castle, which stands on the site first fortified by William the Conqueror in 1068, was the home of the Earls of Warwick. In 1978 the castle was acquired by the Tussauds Group and is now a major tourist attraction, staging many varied events throughout the year. In this case Snowdens Marquees installed a 12,500sq ft show span structure for a food festival. Meanwhile Arundel Castle in Sussex, famous for its magnificent collection of paintings, furniture, clocks and sculptures was the perfect setting for the first 'Antiques and Audacity' Exhibition. The Owen Brown crew erected 25,000 sq ft of Premier Pavilions on a complicated scaffold platform used to first level a very difficult site. Two very sensitive sites where access was a major problem. Both jobs finished on time and two very satisfied customers!

Our
crews really do get to work on some interesting and historic
sites. Pure coincidence meant that during the same week in
May, two crews from Owen Brown and Snowdens respectively were
busy installing large temporary structures at historic castles
140 miles apart!
