modular, temporary, permanent, rapidly-deployable and ready-made portable buildings. Whatever and wherever
your requirement, we probably have the building solutions
for you. We focus on simple but innovative design technology
producing low cost buildings with simple and quick assembly.
The buildings can be enlarged at any time by adding modules
to the initial installation. Our components are light,
ensuring that buildings can be assembled in locations that
have restricted access.
Site offices, military accommodation, observation posts,
checkpoints, classrooms, sales showrooms, smoking shelters,
portable buildings, man portable flat packed units. We have
them all.
Extraspace have three main
product ranges: Expandarange, Armarange and
Modularange.
EXPANDARANGE - Flat Packed Man Portable Buildings
All
Expandarange buildings arrive flat-packed and are
completely man-portable, only requiring a screwdriver and
socket set for their fast and simple assembly. Assembled
units can be lifted by crane or fork-lift or can be linked
together to make more space, they have lots of accessories
and if not in use, the units can be stored as flatpacks.

ExpandaChem the latest addition to the
exciting Expanda product range, designed specially for
the safe storage of hazardous materials. Featuring
double doors for easy access, a sumped base for
contained spillage and a suspended grated floor. Light
enough to be man handled, the components are small
enough to fit through small passageways.

Expandavault The latest addition to the
line-up is our brand new flat pack vault. This low
cost, high quality product takes about 20 minutes to
assemble with just a socket set. Ideal for storage of
personal effects, tools and valuables. There are
optional forklift feet or castor wheels. 600mm x 700mm
x 1200mm in size and weighs in at 70kg.

units are becoming an increasingly popular method of
providing fast, cost-effective building solutions to a
variety of accommodation problems. Easily
transportable by Hiab equipped vehicles, each unit can
be unloaded and sited in a matter of minutes to

fully steel fabricated - providing a high degree of
protection against thieves, vandals and arson attack.

Jackcab is a popular building system incorporating
all the advantages of speed, availability and economy.
Structurally independent, they can be used as stand-alone
buildings or stacked and linked to form large complexes
of highly useable floor space. The addition of further
units can be implemented at any stage giving the client
the choice of reducing, enlarging or relocating at very
short notice.

The Modular
building system provides high quality, semi-permanent
accommodation, which can be enlarged or reduced at
short notice. The modules are delivered by lorry, and
craned into position onto simple 'pad' foundations.
The units are open-sided modules (except gable ends)
that bolt to one another to form large open plan areas
of space.

Structural Steel These buildings are 100%
steel, and fully pre-clad. This allows for fast
installation, and gives you the flexibility to extend
or reduce the structure when required. Relocation is
simple, as each panel is light and flexible enough to
be man handled. The standard specification includes 24
gauge corrugated galvanised steel cladding to BS 3083,
and is completely non-combustible.

MILITARY USES
Extraspace
offer a large range of buildings to cater for all
military requirements. They range from Customised Modular
Buildings, Personnel shelters, Liquid and Chemical Storage
Containers to Modular Office / Accommodation Unit.
A rapid deployment accommodation
system, Expandakabin is a flat-packed man-portable office /
accommodation unit. Doors and windows can be sited
anywhere in the building due to the unique panel design. The
standard unit uses 50mm insulation, but can be changed to
suit environmental demands. It is ideal for use as OPs'
checkpoints, living accommodation etc. Once assembled, the
unit can be extended (in width or length) by linking
additional units.
Also available is the Expandastore, the flatpacked, man
