LAND TRANSPORT
 

For transport of explosives Hansa-Express Logistics GmbH use their own trucks, equipped for the highest requirements for European explosives transportation and can offer four categories of trucks for transport of explosives:

• Vans up to: 1 ton neq 1.1

• Cargo Trucks up: to 1 ton neq 1.1

• Trucks up to: 3 tons neq 1.2 , 1 ton neq 1.1 , 5 tons neq 1.3

• Trucks up to: 16 tons neq 1.1

Trucks can be loaded from the back, the top, or both sides and can be located via GPS everywhere in Europe.

SEA TRANSPORT

For more than 15 years Hansa-Express Logistics GmbH have been shipping explosives all over the world.

Since the end of 2005 Hansa-Express Logistics GmbH have run a ship especially for explosives for short-sea-shipments in Europe and the Mediterranean. This ship is capable of loading up to 500 tons neq 1.1.

STORAGE AND WAREHOUSING

Hansa-Express Logistics GmbH's warehouse is licensed for storage of all kinds of explosives. With a capacity of 800 tons net explosive quantity 1.1 and room for about 3000 pallets it is the biggest warehouse for this kind of cargo in Europe.

The area is fenced and guarded by armed guards. There are 36 bunkers built according to the highest German requirements for storage of explosives.

PACKING EXPLOSIVE CARGO

Stuffing of explosive cargo into containers requires well-founded knowledge of national and international regulations as well as technical knowledge of securing the cargo for ocean transportation according to IMO regulations.

• Stuffing of containers according to IMO-regulations

• Wooden coatings of containers where necessary

• Fumigation of containers against parasites

• Securing of cargo with straps or wooden construction
