OPERATIONAL RATION PACKS

One Man Operational Ration Packs/Individual Components
 

A one-man ration pack contains all of the food requirements needed by a soldier over a 24-hour period. Providing between 3,000-3,500 calories.

Far-Side Marketing Ltd can develop, procure, pack and supply operational rations to customer specifications.

Components can also be supplied separately in bulk.


10 Man Central Feeding Ration
 

A multi-menu central feeding ration containing commercial off the shelf products (COTS). Far-Side Marketing has already packed and distributed this ration pack for the Ministry of Defence under surge conditions.

All ration packs are packed to our customers’ specifications.

SMOKE HOODS
 

Far-Side Marketing Ltd have entered into a joint venture with the manufacturers and have developed a fully EN403 compliant Self-Rescue Smoke-Hood.

When certified in 2001 the smoke-hood exceeded all requirements. The Smoke-Hood’s primary purpose is to aid evacuation of an individual from a smoke filled building.

 

• The Self-Rescue Smoke-Hood provides a minimum of 15 minutes of filtered air from both Carbon Monoxide and many other poisonous gases, and in test conditions exceeded 60 minutes of filtration.

• It is suitable for all adult head sizes of normal proportions, and can be to be put on in seconds.

• Protects face and provides a clearer vision for users to find an escape route

• Withstands temperatures of up to 800c

• Exceeds European Standards Certification EN403:1993-S

• Certification currently being upgraded to EN403 (M) 2004
