Data protection was something unheard of when Martin Yale introduced their first shredders over 35 years ago. Nevertheless, they continued their work undeterred and have created a complete range of machines from the first patented "electronic wastepaper basket", the INTIMUS Simplex.

Martin Yale's range meets all the requirements imposed with regard to data protection and always includes practical and efficient shredder technology. Today, they can safely and consistently shred not only classical data media, from notelets to thick computer lists and even complete folders with lever mechanism, but also such modern media as CDs and floppy disks.

EASE OF USE

A data shredder is only designed to do one job: to shred old documents in accordance with data security requirements. The process should run smoothly, without involving a lot of handling. Inside the machine, out of sight of the user, high-tech components such as the micro-controller system, the Vario-Speed frequency converter drive, the automatic On/Off switch and lots more ensure that the data shredder does not become a challenge to operate, but does its job on its own, at the touch of a button.

SAFETY

The safety features on data shredders work in two ways: on the one hand, they protect the operator, and on the other, they use well-designed technology for trouble-free functioning, even in continuous use.
