For over 14 years we have been refurbishing and recycling IT equipment. Our processing centre currently extends to over 20,000 sq ft in Digbeth, Birmingham and with trained, dedicated staff we can process over 2000 items every week.

All data is destroyed to the standards set by the Security Equipment Assessment Panel (SEAP) and if the equipment can not be resold or reused then it is recycled to the standards set by the WEEE directive.

Secure IT Disposals Ltd offers a flexible customer driven service. This allows us to provide a simple service to meet our customers' legal Duty of Care under both the Environment Protect Act and the Data Protection Act and to also provide a complete auditable service to allow for asset registry management. We are fully compliant with the WEEE Directive and the ISO 9001, 14001 and 17799 standards

Our service provides a fully audited service utilising a bespoke client/server database, every item is given a unique barcode and any re-useable equipment is PAT tested.

All data is destroyed to the standards used by the UK Government and MoD. These are defined by the Security Equipment Assessment Panel (SEAP) and CESG. This includes using approved software tools, a SEAP/NATO approved degausser and / or physical shredding.

OUR COLLECTION SERVICE

We use our own transport for collections. Our uniformed staff are there to help and will not require any assistance with loading and will take anything you ask. A Waste Transfer Note is issued for every collection.
