Delta Composites has extensive experience in the Formula One and Motorsport sectors. We continually focus on quality and are accredited to ISO 9001 UKAS  standard with an in-house inspection facility. Each component is accompanied by a manufacturing history record which can be tailored to meet customer needs.

Design of Carbon Components

Delta Composites has the ability to integrate closely with the design departments of it's suppliers to help ensure efficient manufacture of the components.

Carbon Components Pattern Production

Delta Composites is able to work off existing patterns and can generate new patterns in collaboration with Delta Patterns.

Laminate

A trained and dedicated team of Laminators with an average of 10 years experience contribute to exceptional product quality. They have Clean Room facilities and a dedicated Bagging Area.

Clave

Delta Composites' in-house Autoclave measuring 1.5m diameter and 3.7m long provides a fully controlled capability to 100psi (7 Bar) at 200^oC with it's own dedicated operator, who also prepares the moulds prior to manufacture to insure continuity. Two other fully computerised claves are also available, one measuring 1.64m diameter and 3m long, the other 1.2m diameter and 1.4m long.

Trimshop

With the capability of trimming to +/- 0.1mm in the two fully equipped rooms. Which includes a band saw, double disk sander and a full range of tools.

Assembly of Carbon Components

The Assembly room is equipped with an electric oven 860mm (D) x 1140mm (W) x 890mm (H) - Electronic Temperature Control, surface table, digital height gauge and other precision measuring equipment, allowing high quality and accurate assemblies.

Machine Shop

Equipped with digital manual milling machine and lathe.

Inspection of Carbon Components

Inspection is carried out during production and on completion of the component. Each component is accompanied by a manufacturing history record/inspection report.
