SEA FREIGHT

We can export or import on your behalf all commodities, from hazardous goods, chemicals, full load containers 20 & 40fts, 45fts, out of gauge, machinery, heavy plant equipment, foodstuffs to smaller groupage consignments, world wide, providing just in time solutions, and door to door deliveries if required. Embassy has signed service contracts with a select number of ship owners which enables us to obtain significant reductions in freight rates which we can pass on to our clients.

Over the past 20 + years we have developed an expertise in the handling and shipment of turnkey projects and many major construction companies have entrusted us to manage their largest projects globally.

Our Groupage services incorporate the shipment on a weekly basis of dedicated containers to most of the major trading areas in Asia and the Americas . With our owned or dedicated receiving depots, throughout all areas, we quickly organise shipments on a door-to-door basis at very competitive rates.

FCL services cover a full range of containers to match exactly your cargo requirements. We have excellent availability of all types of specialist equipment including Open Top, Flat Rack, High Cube and Reefer Containers.

Specialised documentation such as, Certificates of Origin, Carnets, Customs entries are all arranged and monitored in house, and we are able to produce and supply all the required documentation to comply with Letters of Credits and other banking instruments.

Order processing, monitoring and call forwarding are all managed by us on a day to day basis and we ensure that our clients and partners are regularly updated with the status of their shipments.

OVERLAND

Embassy Freight offers a Full Load, Part Load & Groupage service linking the UK to all the countries within the European Union. In addition our daily pick-up and delivery service within the UK via our network of local depots ensures that we offer a door-to-door service on a daily basis.

The recent expansion of the European Community to 27 nations means that borderless transportation within a major market of over 400 million people is today a reality. Our ability to mix and match cargo all over the European region ensures our vehicles are running at maximum utilization and empty running of trailers is kept to a minimum. All this means our road freight shipments offer an unbeatable package of services.

Out of Gauge and Heavy Cargo movements are also handled on a regular basis and our expertise in the project cargo sector means we have a large availability of vehicles and trailers to cover every requirement.  

HAZARDOUS GOODS TRANSPORTATION - CLASS 1 to CLASS 9

We have handled over the years all IMCO commodities, from Class 1 explosive to Class 9 limited quantities . However, as regulations change and countries and port authority's and shipping lines stipulate the acceptance or not of particular hazards in today's security conscious environment Embassy still with their "in house" expertise manage to provide services to our clients who export/import such hazardous goods.

Embassy Freight Services have home office approval under section 5 of the firearms act 1968 to handle and transport Class 1 military and marine explosives.

CONTAINER LOADING

Whilst considered a somewhat small part of the export/import chain, it is without question a vitally important area. Correct handling, loading and securing of goods can ensure arrival of products in pristine condition. Most full containers FCLs are loaded by the shipper, whose sole responsibility for the condition of goods on arrival is theirs. We have a cargo superintendent at Embassy with many years experience in this area, and can provide help and advice and solutions for any problems with container loading/stowage for any product however awkward.

FREIGHT MANAGEMENT

This is a growing area for Embassy Midlands, it has captivated interest for many clients whose core activity or business is raw material purchasing, manufacturing and supply.
Embassy Midlands identified that the logistics and shipping role emphasis shifted, and the daily requirement for expertise in this area was limited. Therefore, Embassy Midlands focus is to provide full support as a sole supplier to all your import and export needs. We can provide upon request, a fully trained 3rd party employee representative on-site, who will be briefed in day to day role of documentary support; or alternatively provide offsite all of the following:

• Raising commercial invoices

• Liaising with customers/consignees

• Pre and post shipment advice to your clients

• Tracking of goods

• Letters of credit

• Raising consular documentation e.g. CofO's, EUR 1
