NETS
Fish Farming
Knox has been making nets for fish farms throughout the
world since the industry's beginnings. Years of involvement
means that they offer sound technical knowledge and the
expertise to meet your requirements.
The finest raw materials available worldwide are used in the
production of Knox knotless nylon netting. All yarn used is
fully stabilised to minimise degradation by UV light. Before
being cut, all sheet netting is dyehouse set to eliminate any
possibility of future shrinkage.
Their quality management system complies with the requirements
of BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
Camouflage
Knox has been making camouflage nets since WW1. Their
technology has evolved from those early camouflage nets required
to fool only the human eye to systems which deceive the most
sophisticated equipment.
The art of camouflage lies in giving the target the same
brightness values, shades and infra-red reflective values as its
environment. It is as important to deceive the human eye as
surveillance monitors.
Knox camouflage nets are manufactured to your specification for
deployment in specific terrains: woodland, desert or arctic.
Camouflage nets can be supplied in any size and are easily
joined together to cover large areas. Lightweight synthetic
materials are utilised in manufacture, ensuring ease of handling
and transport.
The use of thermal sheets in conjunction with nets will extend
the protection into the far infra-red region of the spectrum.
The shape of the equipment being camouflaged can be distorted
using aluminium or glass reinforced plastic poles to break up
straight lines. These can be supplied in various sizes.
