Based in the UK, European Antennas design, develop and manufacture microwave antennas, for military, security, satellite and commercial markets to meet applications within 250MHz and 40GHz. Designs include directional base stations, flat panel, sector and low profile antennas, omni directional antennas, blade, helix, broadband and narrow band antennas for mounting on masts, windows, walls, ceilings, UAVs, helicopters, missiles, vehicles, cameras, weather buoys and satellites.

Applications include WLAN, WiFi, RFID, WiMAX, telemetry, Link16, RFID, TETRA, PMR, outside broadcast, data and cellular communication systems.

European Antennas has NQA ISO9001 registration for the UK, Europe and the USA, and is part of the Cobham Antennas division.

There are over 1000 antenna designs available (COTS) that may be customised to meet individual requirements. All antennas are tested throughout design and manufacture to meet their quoted specification.

We undertake antenna development projects for customers. Modelling software supports our development projects and enables us to predict performance of antennas at an early stage. Prototypes of new developments are tested in our on-site anechoic test chamber to ensure specification compliance.

DIRECTIONAL FLAT PANEL ANTENNAS

New flat panel COTS antennas for 4.4 to 5.0GHz defence communications.

Two new directional antennas have well defined, low sidelobe patterns for point to point and single hop data links as the subscriber in point to multipoint systems. 20 and 26dBi gain - vertical polarisation – 1 inch/2cm depth.

BROADBAND ANTENNAS

Our broadband antennas can be used for ground-based and airborne systems, ECM, ESM and DF, broad bandwidth for high-speed data links, target drones, communication in tunnels, and spectrum monitoring.

Frequency ranges include 0.5 to 3GHz, 1 to 4GHz, 2 to 18GHz and other variables.

Antennas are waterproof, rugged, and withstand temperatures of -55° to +60° C.

OMNI ANTENNAS - LINK16

Extended performance omni antenna for Link16 ground-based applications (JTRS, MIDS, JTIDS)

Designed for Link 16 applications, this extended performance omni antenna can be incorporated in to MIDS (Multifunctional Information Distribution System), JTRS (Joint Tactical Radio System) and JTIDS (Joint Tactical Information Distribution System) for high data rate transmission.

Further specification adjustment will be incorporated as system developments progress. With 7dBi gain, nearly double the range of a system that is constrained by output power.
