package incorporating a number of Gordano's areas of expertise, for
example - Packaging, Kitting Systems, Packing & Logistics - into a
‘service alliance’.
This complete packaging solution will provide cost effective services
and support to your Logistics and Supply Chain Management, providing
many benefits to your operational processes.
Inbound - from receipt and collation of parts, to packing, multi
- component kitting and delivery to your production line, Gordano are
able to support or control your in-bound supply of parts.
Internal - kitting trays and systems offer many uses for internal
operational processes - movement of parts throughout the production
line, tooling trays, stores to line-side delivery, stores and spares
management.
Outbound - providing durable packaging solutions for external
transportation of components and spares. Direct from manufacture,
repair, or storage Gordano will collect, and kit where necessary, and
pack your products into custom -designed packaging as required, for
storage or despatch to the next production line process or end-customer.
The operations can be run from your own sites, or through satellite
units on or near your sites. An example being Gordano's Reading unit,
pictured above, which is designed to provide collection, packing and
